Veg Tanned Cow Hide - 4.5oz - Biscuit
This leather bag was the largest piece I made from a double shoulder of veg tanned cow hide. I managed to hide a small blemish in the leather on the underside where it will soon blend in from use.
Veg Tanned Cow Hide - 4.5oz - Biscuit
This leather purse perfectly fits my phone, wallet, and keys. It also has a belt loop on the back and a removeable strap for versatility.
Sterling Silver - 22GA
Simple silver rings like this are relatively simple after some practice and can be easily enlarged to fit a specific person.
Steel and Brass
This is one of my favourite things I have ever made. A rolled steel bottle opener braised with brass. Later I blued this piece in oil to give it a dark tarnish across the steel. Gorgeous.
Fused Glass and B-Mix Clay
As a wedding present for a friend I decided to make my first compound piece, a chessboard made from glass and ceramics.
B-Mix Clay
I threw each of the thrity-two pieces off the hump on a Lockerbie kick-wheel using B-Mix clay, which is pretty sticky and elastic, so tricky.
B-Mix Clay
I used Oribe over Leach White for the White pieces and Zachs black over Buttermilk for the black pieces.
Cherry, Birch and Mahogany
My first foray into wood working produced this piece of (I believe) cherry, birch and mahogany.
Veg Tanned Cow Hide - 4.5oz - Biscuit
A friend asked me to help manifest an idea he had for his research, the reconstruction of a long lost game from the middle-ages, the Astronomy Game, which involves the zodiac and pieces representing the planets.
